M50 Manifold To M54B30 IACV Bracket Kit
This bracket kit supports the weight of the ICV, and prevents premature failure of the ICV hoses. The bracket is laser cut from 304 stainless steel, and the rubber holder is 3d printed to prevent unwanted vibration being applied to the ICV.
What’s Included:
ICV Bracket
x1 M6x1.0 10mm Long Bolts
x1 M6 Washers
Tips:
The air injection ports on the cylinder head have to be blocked off to prevent vacuum leaks. M10 set screws are supplied to close off these ports. You will need to tap these port to M10x1.25, and then insert the set screws with sealant. You will want to make sure the intake valves on the cylinder you are working on is closed. Make sure you thoroughly clean the port and intake runner you are working on before proceeding to the next cylinder. This is very critical to prevent metal shaving getting into the engine.
I suggest using a m50 intake boot, and ICV hoses. If you need help with part numbers for these, please feel free to reach out to me and I can help you get this info.
I also suggest replacing the intake manifold and throttle body seals. These intake manifolds are at least 25 years old now, and reusing old gaskets here can cause vacuum leaks causing a poor running condition and low power.
