M50 Manifold To M54B30 Adapter

$80.00

This intake manifold adapter simplifies the engine compartment and increases the overall performance. It is normal to see about a 20hp increase, better throttle response, and higher redline due to the increased runner size.

The M54 intake manifold does perform better in street driving due to the integrated DISA valve that can control the intake runner length depending on engine RPM and load. In a high performance environment, like at the race track, the engine almost never sees the lower RPM band. Making the DISA valve more of a liability, and less of a benefit. The flap inside of the DISA valve is known for failing, and can cause damage to the engine if any fragments from a failed DISA valve get into the cylinder head.

The throttle body adapter is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum. It is port matched to optimize air flow and velocity.

What’s Included:

Throttle Body Adapter

x4 M6x1.0 50mm Long Bolts

x4 M6x1.0 16mm Long Bolts

x4 M6 Washers

Tips:

I suggest using a m50 intake boot, and ICV hoses. If you need help with part numbers for these, please feel free to reach out to me and I can help you get this info.

I also suggest replacing the intake manifold and throttle body seals. These intake manifolds are at least 25 years old now, and reusing old gaskets here can cause vacuum leaks causing a poor running condition and low power.
